Tre Tocchi (2014)

The film talks about six different stories. Stories of actors, or rather, stories of men, with their passions and frustrations, joys and disappointments, successes and failures. Six lives very different but united by two great passions: football and work. And between a training and a casting their lives continually touch and meet themselves and they reveal their miserable existence, made of successes and moments of glory, but certainly never true and really happy.
Gilles is a young soap operas actor, handsome and loved by the girls. He seems strong and bold, but he’s so weak and insecure, in fact he falls in the tunnel of cocaine. Vincent spends his days with his sick father in a hospital, always dark and silent, he works like a singer in a restaurant, despite his talent and his statuesque beauty. His rage and frustration led him to blow off steam in sex and physical violence.
Leandro, the oldest of the group, returns to his native country, Naples, with a different awareness and determination and he decides to close with a cumbersome and obscure past and, under the name of Jennifer plays the role of a transexual in a theater, by questioning his entire existence. Max comes back to his homeland, Basilicata, whenever he feels to lose his sense of reality and wants to recover from a disappointment. He’s not able to make a real career, but he has to decide if surrender to the proposal to marry the daughter of a wealthy hotelier or not.
Antonio is a theater actor, thanks to an old famous actress who has thirty years older than him and who takes care of him financially. But he is brave, he studied, risked and won. Emiliano instead has surrendered to his insecurities, he lost the determination and desire to succeed. He works as a porter in a hotel.
